king abdullah financial district (kafd)
In the Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh, King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) was built on an area of one hundred and sixty hectares in recent years according to the master plan of Danish star architect Henning Larson. Housing for a total of twelve thousand people was also created within the new, ultra-modern financial centre. In addition, a large number of exclusive shopping facilities, restaurants and hotels as well as extensive retreats and recreation areas have been created there. The King Abdullah Financial District consists of around sixty high-rise buildings. One of them houses a restaurant on the top floor, which's elaborate polygonal roof cladding was produced by INOCLAD and installed on site.
