renovation and reconstruction of the continuing education center of the chamber of industry and commerce bodensee-oberschwaben
After almost two years of construction, the renovation and reconstruction of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Bodensee-Oberschwaben was ceremonially opened in the fall of 2016. . In the last few years, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, as a major educational institution, reached the limits of its existing building due to the constantly growing demand for training programs. They found a solution for their building project in the Stuttgart architectural office Schlude Ströhle Richter. In the design, a new extension is connected to the previously existing part of the building. The old rotunda was converted into an entrance area.
Because of the renovation, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce now has access to a large number of training and consultation rooms, and offices for employees, in addition to a bistro for both employees and guests. INOCLAD Engineering was tasked with supplying and assembling the post-and-beam façade, glass skylights, and sun protection elements, in addition to the aluminum composite panel wall cladding.
